Bio: Curu is a very, very old Toa, perhaps close to a hundred thousand years old. He lived in the war-torn era of Kain's history, and ruled as a warlord for many centuries. He became one of the most feared and powerful of the warlords, leading a huge army that rarely saw defeat. In one such rare defeat, he met Kikatili, long before the Toa of Stone became the island's ruler, and was a warlord himself. The two warlords formed an alliance, and over the centuries, other warlords joined them. Curu was always content, however, to let the others take the lead. His true love was not for battle, but the sciences. This only intensified after a Rahi attack cost him his leg. Over the centuries that followed, he worked, almost feverishly, at finding a proper replacement. He met with both success and failure.
Though Curu was well-liked among his own people, not everyone approved of the Toa of Ice's closeness to Kikatili, believing him to be a threat, even though Kikatili never felt so. Curu dealt with dozens of assassins during his life, and many of those attacks cost him more bits and pieces of his anatomy.
As the years, decades and centuries went by, Curu learned more and more, while his body became increasingly mechanical, to make up for what he had lost.
By the time the Overlord came to Kain, he was almost entirely cybernetic, but still happy to serve his people as a doctor, scientist and engineer.
Many centuries later, his studies brought about an amazing discovery: A serum that seemed to be a previously-unheard of 'Miracle Drug'. Curu tested the substance on himself, being as he had some measure of organic components left to work with. The serum regenerated all of his formerly destroyed or lost tissues and body parts.
That in mind, Curu has been working constantly to bring this substance to the aid of those who have been critically injured, or suffer from some severe disease.
Personality: Curu is very odd, for a Toa of Ice. He is friendly, outgoing, and enjoys small talk. His favorite things, of course, are related to the sciences somehow, and once someone gets him talking about his most recent experiments or discoveries, nothing short of a large, heavy object to his head will shut him up.
